1.Our approach to your data

BetTax Pro is built to keep your sensitive financial information with you. The application runs locally in your web browser, with no backend server that we operate to receive or store your data. The information you import — betting and trading history, W-2G and 1099 forms, and the summaries the app generates — stays on your device.

2.Information the application does not collect

We do not receive, transmit, or store the tax-related data you work with in BetTax Pro. Specifically, we do not collect:

• your imported betting or trading history;
• your W-2G, 1099, or withholding details;
• the dashboards, reports, or Excel exports the app produces.

This data lives in your browser and on your device unless you choose to save or share it yourself.

3.License activation

To unlock the application, you enter a license key. When you activate, that key is checked against Gumroad's license-verification service to confirm it's valid. This verification involves your license key and is handled by Gumroad; it does not include the tax data described above. Gumroad's handling of that request is governed by Gumroad's privacy policy.

4.Purchases

When you buy BetTax Pro, the purchase is processed by Gumroad as our merchant of record. Gumroad collects the information needed to complete your order — such as your name, email address, and payment details — and shares with us limited order information (for example, your email and license key) so we can support you. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Gumroad's use of your information is governed by Gumroad's privacy policy.

5.This website

This marketing website (bettaxpro.com) is a static page. We do not set our own tracking cookies and we do not run our own analytics on it. When the page loads, your browser makes requests to a small number of third parties to render the page and enable checkout:

• Google Fonts — to load the fonts used on the site; this request includes your IP address and is subject to Google's privacy policy.
• Gumroad — the checkout button loads a script from Gumroad so you can purchase; this is subject to Gumroad's privacy policy.
